I hope all is well with the family now.

I look forward to recipes for some authentic autumnal recipes (hint hint hint).

Safe travels!

:-)

I neglected to say I love the pasta recipe with just fresh tomato and basil. Its simplicity emphasized those summer flavors (which in our strange climate are just coming into a second wave, hurray!).

Yum. Pasta scarparello is something I love, even though I didn't know it had a name. Try it served with ricotta salara 😋. I'm making that cotoletta! Thank you.

I am sorry to hear of your family emergency, I am glad things are relatively back to normal. The dish looks like summer! A friend gave me three cherry tomato plants and they have been prolific! In my ancient years, i have never had such a bounty from my home-grown plants. This looks like the perfect dish to make with them. I’m glad you’re back.

Thanks, Eva. It's nice to be back. And hope you give this a try. With home grown tomatoes it would really be over the top good.

That looks so good! Love that you used paccheri. There's frustratingly hard to find here in Minneapolis (sigh...). Hope everything is okay with your family.

Thanks! And yep, paccheri are hard to find around here, too, alas. Thank goodness for mail order!
