I have followed your blog for years and have saved many, many recipes. A book that combines them, along with the helpful photographs, your personal reminiscences, and your step by step instructions would be very valuable to me. Not only would I buy a copy for myself, I would purchase another one or two as gifts.
I love reading cookbooks like other people read novels. My Marcella Hazan cookbook has stained pages from spills but I know those stained pages are my favorite recipes. Besides cookbooks make such nice presents. Ted's wife.
Your blog has a good search function and I can find recipes easily. A cookbook will only include recipes up to the publishing date, so your blog will still be the best source. I am a great fan of your blog and hope that you will continue to post!
No worries, I will defintely continue to post! As I said I see my website as a kind of online cookbook, which is one reason I haven't done an actual cookbook up to now. But apparently many people really like to have a physical book to refer to.
I like the perspective that being an American of Italian descent gives you of understanding what ingredients are available in this country and how to make the best of what we can get. Your contemporary knowledge of both cuisines is helpful. And your thoughtful descriptive recipes are excellent. I hope if you do a cookbook, it will include your heartwarming anecdotes. Buona fortuna!
It would be a best seller Frank. Your recipes are authentic and come with a story of the dish, plus how the instructions are written step-by-step that encourages even the more difficult dishes to be given a chance!
I do see a old school book and I hope you get some enthusiasm toward one. Unfortuantely scanning the responses below it seems that many will choose the online "free" way.
Yes! This is a great idea. How would you like to structure it? An overall of Italian cuisine or specific topics? I love your dessert recipes, very classical and authentic. Best, Paola
I would like to buy it. I’ve often hoped you would do a cookbook. I hope you will include the long instructions where you give real step-by-step.
It is common to have a bundle price for buying both the ebook and the printed one. I would consider that in your plan.

I agree, Theodore. The hours that my husband watches sports are the same hours that I read cookbooks, just as one would read a novel.

Thanks so much for the kind words, Linda!
I would also pre-buy the book, pay now and book delivered whenever you get it done.
I wouldn't dream of accepting money for an unfinished product. but you're very kind to offer, Susan!
I would love to see a cook book, photos of every recipe are an absolute must though!
I'd definitely insist on that, though I suspect it might impact the price unless I decide to self-publish.
Hi Frank, I think the photos for every recipe would make the difference for people to love the book even more!

Thanks to my biggest fan. :-)
I would love to have your cookbook. Really!

You may have spoken too soon, Mark. Overall the answers are overwhelmingly positive.
that is awesome!
My interest in it would lie only if you were to focus on the southern Italian and Campania related recipes that you showcase so well!!!
the blog / web site is a cookbook already
I feel the same way, Joe. But apparently many people really like to have a physical book to refer to.

Thanks so much, Paola! You’re too kind. Not sure about structure yet…
Absolutely interested in a FF cookbook and I hope to see it soon!
Please please do it we really need.
